Counselor's Corner

Hello! My name is Bri Sogla, and I am the new school counselor here at East Cheatham Elementary this year! I am here to provide your child with social emotional learning tools to help them become kind, confident, successful learners and leaders. I will also be teaching guidance lessons to every grade level, where we will learn and practice social skills, safety, and being in control of our emotions. Throughout the year, I will also be incorporating the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People:1) Be proactive, 2) Begin with the end in mind, 3) First things first, 4) Think win-win, 5) Seek first to understand, then to be understood, 6) Synergize! and, 7) Sharpen the saw, growth.

I am incredibly excited to get to know you and your child this school year. Although I now reside in Nashville, I am originally from a small rural town in Wisconsin, so East Cheatham has a comforting familiarity to it. emoji If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via phone or email.

If you are interested in learning more about what I did in my internship experiences at Metro Nashville Public Schools, you can view my professional portolio here.

Go Dragons!
